  The owner was very rude.When we arrived early evening there was all manner of of loud fireworks going on,and people partying with loud voices on one of the sites next to us, whatever. We had travelled across Canada in our trailer,and had just come from performing at Festival Acadien in Caraquet. We were quietly playing acoustic mandolin and harmonica with no complaints from any neighbors, when the "host" appeared and told us to stop playing, we complied as it was then later evening, fair enough. The next morning at around 11am we were again quietly playing our instruments for the family with kids next to us, everyone was enjoying themselves, when yet again this controlling moron appeared and told us to stop, citing a rule that certainly wasn't written anywhere! We cut short our stay there and left. Definitely spoiled our stay. Beautiful spot, but wouldn't recommend the camping due to this strange killjoy! You want tourists on your island you better make efforts to be more friendly!

  I would be leery camping on Miscou Island...Especially if you are of another nationality. Some of the Islanders seem to have their own laws. And are very anti-english... We were told to learn French or don't come around....Not very welcoming place.
